Heyday Films is a British film production company founded in 1996 by producer David Heyman. The company is most famous for acquiring the film rights to the Harry Potter book series and producing all films within the Wizarding World franchise, in partnership with Warner Bros.. (film)

Heyday Films was established by David Heyman in London with the goal of producing international films. In 1997, a development executive at the company, Nisha Parti, discovered the manuscript for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. After David Heyman read and loved the book, he began the process of securing the film rights. (film) In 1999, Heyday Films successfully acquired the rights from J.K. Rowling, bringing the project to Warner Bros. for financing and distribution. A key part of the deal involved Rowling's stipulation that the principal cast remain British.
